A friendly and family run, the lodge has a cosy pub atmosphere with timber floors lots of old memorabilia which pay homage to the area's rich an colourful history, open fires and great food with plenty of good comfortable seating, all adding to its interesting charactoer and olde world charm.
Steeped in history "The Glenmalure Lodge" was established in 1801 making it one of the country's oldest coaching inns. It was first known as "Wiseman's Inn" and later became a hunting lodge for Lord Meath, the ideal location for him to relax with his friends in a haven of peace and tranquility.
